Game modes
Card Masters Ascendant has a mode for every moment: a long campaign against the AI, quick matches against other players and competitive series with fixed decks. All of them share the same combat rules and battlefields.
Campaign
There are 120 opponents spread across eight regions of 15 levels. Difficulty rises smoothly: each enemy has more health, a rarer deck and a smarter AI than the one before. Levels 13 and 14 are sub-bosses and level 15 is the region's champion. The campaign is always played on the region's battlefield using your own deck, built from your collection.
Wins earn coins and experience. Repeated wins against the same enemy pay progressively less, to encourage progress. Beating the final champion draws a Closed Deck from the region.
Casual online
Matches against other players with your free-built deck, without affecting ranking. Each turn lasts 30 seconds, the field is drawn at random and sudden death starts on turn 16. To keep things fair, paid wins against the same opponent are capped at 3 per day; after that the match still counts but pays no reward. If no opponent is available you can face a training bot, whose wins count toward missions but not history or ranking.
Ranked and seasons
Ranked matches use the same rules as casual but change your rating. Each season pays coin rewards based on your tier and, from Silver upward, an exclusive title; the top 10 earn the permanent Season Legend title. At season end ratings go through a soft reset: new rating = 1000 + (current rating − 1000) / 2.
Best-of-3 with Closed Decks
In a Best-of-3 series you don't use your free deck: you pick a different Closed Deck for each round and need to own at least three distinct decks to enter. Every round draws a new battlefield. Cards receive a power bonus based on the deck's rarity — common 0%, rare 0%, epic 2%, legendary 5% — and mastery does not apply, so the series depends only on the deck and your skill. The first to win two rounds takes the series; at 2-0 the third deck is never used.
Card mastery
Outside Best-of-3, every card in the deck you used earns mastery points in reward-paying matches. Levels are reached at 10 / 30 / 75 / 150 / 300 points and each level gives the card +1% power, up to +5%. Duplicate copies can also be absorbed to speed up mastery. The highest levels unlock animated frames and the card's Master title.
Which mode to choose
If you are just starting, play the first campaign regions: opponents introduce combos gradually and wins earn coins for your first packs. Once your deck has a stable cost curve, try casual online to meet other play styles without risking rating.
Ranked is for players who already know combo priorities and can read the drawn battlefield. Best-of-3 calls for a varied Closed Deck collection: three decks of different elements help you adapt to each round's map and to the opponent's style.
Missions and daily rewards
Daily and weekly missions ask for things like winning matches, playing combos or using specific elements. There is also a daily login calendar, a daily chest that opens when your local day changes and a pass with reward milestones. None of it requires real money.
