Frequently asked questions

The most common player questions, answered directly. If yours isn't here, reach support through the contact page.

Is the game free?

Yes. Card Masters Ascendant is free and runs in your browser. Coins and gems are earned by playing: wins, missions, the daily calendar and the pass. There are no real-money purchases.

Do I need an account?

To play, yes: your account stores your cards, decks and progress. You can sign in with Google or with email and password. The guides, card gallery and Codex can be read without an account.

Is my progress saved?

Yes, on the server, tied to your account. You can switch computers or phones and continue where you left off by signing in with the same account.

What is the difference between coins and gems?

Coins are the common currency: they buy packs and common decks and come from wins and sales. Gems are rarer: they buy rare, epic and legendary decks and cosmetic items. The Arcane Exchange lets you convert coins into gems with a weekly limit.

How many cards are there?

There are 200 cards across eight elements and four rarities. The public gallery shows all of them with cost and base values.

How do I build a deck?

A deck has 20 cards from your collection. Include about six cards costing 2 or less, a mix of attack and defense, and element pairs that form combos. The game can also suggest decks automatically.

What are Closed Decks?

They are 64 ready-made decks with fixed lists, used in Best-of-3. You earn them by beating regional champions, buying them in the shop or receiving your element's starter deck.

How does online play work?

You face other players in real time, with 30 seconds per turn and a randomly drawn field. There are casual, ranked and Best-of-3 modes. If no opponent is available, a training bot can take the match.

What happens if my connection drops?

You have some time to return to the match. If you don't make it back in time, the match ends as a disconnection loss. Very short matches that end this way pay no reward.

Which devices can I play on?

Any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer. The battle screen has a dedicated layout for touch screens.

How do I install the game as an app?

In Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet, use the Install button on the home page or the browser menu's Install app option. On iPhone or iPad, open it in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Installed on PC, the game opens in its own window.

What data do you collect?

Email, player name, optional avatar, collection, progress and matches, plus technical security data. We do not collect payment data. The privacy policy covers everything, including Google's optional rewarded ads.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Help → Delete my account and type your player name to confirm. Deletion is permanent. If you've lost access, email support from your registered address.

I found a bug. How do I report it?

Send a screenshot, the time, your browser and what happened to support@playcardmasters.com. Never send passwords.
